The Buzz Cut: Drake’s Dad Got a Tattoo — of Drake

In The Buzz Cut, we give hot takes on all of the intellectual and Internet-famous, celebrity and bizarre, buzzy and overlooked family and parenting news we gossiped about over lunch all week.

Mom-shaming. The mom who needed to rest her arms during a flight delay responds to the haters: your kid would be on the floor too if you were 20 hours delayed and needed to tell your family where you were!

Attachment issues. Drake’s dad got a tattoo of Drake’s face, while apparently Drake has long sported ink of his dad’s mugshot. That’s delightful.

Breast pumping on the front row. Fashion blogger Susie Lau dishes on the dark side of being a working, nursing mom at Fashion Week.

Bye-bye beauty norms. We’re loving these dolls with vitiligo, created by a UK artist who was inspired by the model Winnie Harlow.

Seriously. Victoria Beckham’s kids eat seeds after school, and apparently that makes her a domestic goddess. Also apparently that’s news.

Do they serve sushi all day, too? This kindergarten building in Tokyo, which has a flat, oval roof for kids to run around on, makes us want to go back to school. In Japan.

Not a family we want to know. For anyone else obsessed with cults, here’s a glimpse into one called The Family. It sounds awful, but the most shocking thing might be that Australia is unchill enough to even have a cult.

Saving the next generation. Girl crush and Bad Mom Mila Kunis talks parenting, saying she is not going to “raise assholes. There’s enough assholes in the world!” Word, girl. Now, if only the Beckham kids would share their pumpkin seeds…

Mainstreaming miscarriage. Gabrielle Union opens up about her “eight or nine miscarriages.” She says for three years, her “body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant.” Awww… love her even more now.

A mother!effing mind trip. This review of Darren Aronofsky’s mother! makes the film sound … interesting?
