Discover Music Class, MMMF

The Discover Music Class, at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation, is a great introduction to music for small kids, and our favorite of all the young kids’ music classes. If you want a mini-master, start here. The classes employ games and activities to teach kids ages 1-6 the basics, using the Carl Orff, Kodaly, and Da Capo methods, and Colourstrings Approach. The classes are divided by age, so that the teaching methods remain age-appropriate for the entire class.  Kids who complete this program will be ready to take on more serious instruction of an instrument, or at the very least, they will have gained from the many developmental benefits of music education at a young age.
