We love that the support groups and group counselling sessions at the Institute for Psychological Health have an open-door policy—you don’t have to be a patient, or related to a patient, to participate. The Institute has a wide menu of support options for people struggling with mental health problems or behavior issues, as well as their loved ones and caretakers. Timings are listed on the Institute’s website for the following groups:

  • Shubharthi (For people with schizophrenia)
  • Suhrud (For caretakers of schizophrenics)
  • Trendsetters (For young people struggling with serious mental health issues)
  • Uttejan (For people with epilepsy)
  • Vyasanmukti Group (For people struggling with addiction)
  • Sahachari Group (For family members of addicts)
  • LOC (For parents of teens with behavioural issues)
  • Santulan (For parents of children with ADHD)
  • Anubhuti (For people diagnosed with cancer)
