Kitab Khana

A favorite among South Bombay parents, this is the destination for children’s books in Kala Ghoda.  There’s a healthy combination of the more commercial books like Julia Donaldson, for the younger kids, and Harry Potter-type series for the older set, along with lesser-known titles from a variety of publishers.  We’ve spent hours combing the children’s book racks here, and every time we find something different.  Also hugely popular are the Sunday morning book readings, tightly curated by the team at Kahani Tree so you know your kids will love the featured book and enjoy the reading presentation.  Not to mention, the apple tea at the cafe is divine…
