Hands-down our top pick for birthday cakes and all dessert catering, this patisserie has taken South Bombay by storm.  They keep an extensive catering menu of Parisian cakes and biscuits, and the manager is willing to customize anything from the shop into birthday cake-size.  The style is more sophisticated than the usual kiddie birthday cakes, so this will not work for an older child that wants candy animals jumping off the cake.  The cookie boxes also make great return gifts.  And be forewarned: you will want to eat every last bite of the leftovers.
