NCPA Special Music Programme

This is the best of the best for serious study of classical Western music. This NCPA programme offers comprehensive musical education that supports specialization on one instrument. Right now, students are limited to string instruments and a handful of woodwind and brass instruments, but the programme has plans to expand. Music history and theory are stressed, which we like because it ensures your child not only hits the right notes, but understands what he or she is playing. If you’re looking for classical Indian training, however, this is not the place; all teachers are from Eastern Europe or the US, and the focus is heavily on Western classical music.
