St John’s Ambulance

| Jun 20, 2015

Reassuringly, the staff leading first aid courses at St John’s Ambulance Association are all doctors registered with The Maharashtra Medical Council. They offer 16 hours’ worth of coursework for Rs 1000, plus the price of the trainer’s travel. That gets you a 3-year certificate in first aid, but more importantly the skills to handle a variety of emergency medical situations parents could likely face. We particularly like that the Association offers discounts to staff from NGOs, schools and colleges — you may want to suggest this course to your child’s school, if its teachers are not already trained in first aid.
