The Village Shop

| Aug 30, 2016

Nestled in what feels like the cozy veranda of a charming bungalow, The Village Shop in Bandra West is quite a find. The combo of free, reliable WiFi and a healthy, gluten-free menu (we recommend the banana almond cake) is a winning pair. There are also lovely fresh juices and coffees and an all-day breakfast list. The open air feel, the lack of blaring music and — our favourite feature — the plethora of potted plants, make it a low-key, kid-friendly spot. It’s also an ideal stopover before heading off to the Carter road, just steps away, for a little family promenade.

The one downside is the washroom experience leaves a little something to be desired, particularly for parents who may need a certain amount of clean space to maneuver children and belongings or change diapers.
