True School of Music

We like the True School of Music best for your older maestros interested in non-classical Western training; it’s one of Bombay’s prime choices for conservatory-style teaching. The school has top teachers with global experience who can expose your kids to diverse music and theory; their goal is to provide serious training to the next generation of professional musicians. Conveniently, the True School provides instruments for kids to practice, and – our favourite part – kids can practice at the school solo or in a group. (So no shrieking strings or honking horns at home!)  Because this is a serious music school, this may not be the best choice for beginners or very young kids. The True School does offer evening music classes to young kids, but these are more recreational than serious training. It’s good to have the option and choose according to your child’s goals.
